Founded in 1992 as Silcom s.r.o., the company joined Biesterfeld Spezial Chemie GmbH (Biesterfeld AG group) in 2002 and became Biesterfeld Silcom s.r.o. The integration with the international group broadened its supplier base and product offering for the Czech and Slovak markets. Biesterfeld Silcom Slovakia s.r.o. serves the Slovak market.

The company imports chemical raw materials and specialty chemicals while also providing technical consulting. With warehouses in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, it ensures reliable logistics.

Biesterfeld Silcom represents more than 60 leading manufacturers, supplying feedstocks to polymer, coatings, textile, leather, paper, cosmetics, cleaning, dental, pharmaceutical, rubber and polyurethane industries and beyond. Ready-to-use preparations support sectors including electronics, energy, engineering, prototyping, automotive, composites and construction.
